He was predeceased by: his parents, John J. Murphy and Gertrude M. Murphy (Lynch); and his brother Paul Murphy (Joan Murphy) of Acton. He is survived by: his wife Madeline M. Murphy (Merrill); and his children, Gail O'Shea (William) of Wilmington, John Murphy (Lynne) of Tewksbury and Stacie Murphy of Wilmington. He is also survived by many brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and close friends.
