He was predeceased by: his father Edward "Costy" Costello. He is survived by: his mother Mary Costello; his son Joe Jr.; his grandchildren, Conor and Abigail; his spouse Tracey Costello (Stewart); his children, Joseph P. Costello Jr. (Danielle Spilotros) of Oxford, Allyson Hanlon (Richard) of Billerica and Matthew Costello; his siblings, Betsy Redmond, Cheryl Dacko (Paul), Edward "Butch" Costello (Andrea), Michael Costello (Kathy) and Tricia Welch; his father-in-law George Stewart of Wilmington; his siblings-in-law, Michelle, Dave Hayley of Tewksbury, Joanne Lucas of Wilmington, Elizabeth of Wilmington, Dave Sullivan of Wilmington, Kathleen of Wilmington and Kenny Carroll of Wilmington; his close friend Dave Driscoll; and also Pat O'Brien of Wilmington. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
