He was predeceased by: his parents, LeRoy Bedell and Vilma Bedell (Bryant); and his siblings, LeRoy "Bennett" Bedell Jr., Richard Bedell and Vilma Merrill.
He is survived by: his spouse Bobbie J. Bedell (Malcolm) of Haverhill; his children, Ellen Bedell (Ray Dechoretz) of South Bristol, ME, Nora Pearson of Haverhill, Andrew Bedell of Haverhill and Michael Bedell (Christine) of Haverhill; his stepchildren, Steven Puglia of North Reading, Sherry Ohlson of North Reading and David Puglia of Haverhill; and his siblings, Shirley O'Donnell of Marshfield, Marjorie Spear of Wilmington and Iva Riley of Chico, CA. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
