She was predeceased by: her daughter Denise Amaro; her granddaughter Elise Gearty; her parents, Paul T. Ryan and Alice T. Ryan (O'Brien); her brother Paul Ryan; her sister-in-law Rosa Sadowski (Edward) of Wilmington; and her nephew Rick Silva.
She is survived by: her husband John R. Amaro; her daughters, Robin Gearty (Bob) of Wilmington and Cherylann Arvanitis (Peter) of Epsom, NH.; her grandchildren, Lea Gearty, Johnny Gearty, Mariel Gearty (Chris Colosimo), Katherine Arvanitis and Christopher Arvanitis; her sister-in-law Dolores Silva (late George) of Wilmington; and her sibling's children, Rosann Guarino (Mark) and Leeann Sadowski. She is also survived by cousins and many friends.
