He was predeceased by : his parents, Eugene Serrentino and Carmella "Mildred" Serrentino (Torturese); his spouse Jean E. Serrentino (Edmester); and his siblings, Michael Serrentino and Rose Marie Serrentino.

He is survived by : his close friend Jean Edmester; his children, Alan Serrentino (Susan) of Pelham, NH and Susan Liston (Bill) of Wilmington; his grandchildren, Jennifer Liston, Billy Liston (Molly), Jillian Serrentino, Nathan Serrentino, Rachel and Trey Liston; and his brother Richard Serrentino of Georgia. He is also survived by his nieces, nephews, and friends.

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 from 9:15 AM to 11:15 AM at the Nichols Funeral Home (187 Middlesex Ave, Wilmington, MA 01887). The military honors was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Church of the Good Shepherd (95 Woburn St, Reading, MA 01867).

In lieu of flowers, donations in Roy's memory may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude's Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
