It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thomas F. Thornton Jr. of Wilmington, Massachusetts, born in Boston, Massachusetts, who passed away on December 21, 2020, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas F. Thornton and Vera Thornton (Kohler); his wife Carol Thornton (Hachey); and his brother James Thornton. He is survived by: his children, Thomas F. Thornton, III (Michelle) of Chelmsford, Brian D. Thornton (Kristy) of Chelmsford and Sheila Butler (Daniel) of Tewksbury; his grandchildren, Emma, Avery, Trevor Thornton, Sean, Thomas Butler, Quinn and Ashlyn Thornton; and his siblings, John Thornton, Hazel "Mickey" McCallum, Arlene Jackimowicz and Henry Thornton. He is also survived by friends, neighbors and coworkers.
All guests attending services are required to wear a mask in the Funeral Home and Church.
