He is survived by: his wife Jane Tavares (Hickey); his children, Lauren Tavares Fogarty (Rob) of Wells, ME, Matthew Tavares (Sarah) of Ogunquit, ME, Melissa Tavares Eastwood (Ben) of Lexington and Sarah Tavares Woodward (Dan) of Cambridge; and his grandchildren, Liam, Caitlin Fogarty, Ava, Molly Tavares, William, Jack Eastwood and Paige Woodward.
