She was predeceased by: her parents, Verner Carson and Mary Carson (Kelleher); and her siblings, Thaddeus (Buddy), Jeremiah (Jerry), Francis Carson, Kay Boermeester, Helen Chambers and Rita Strong. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Animal Rescue League of Boston.
