He is survived by: his spouse Sylvia Barmakian (Tatigian); his children, Adreena Valdes, Adam Valdes and Nyree Valdes (Eduardo Valdes); his grandchildren, Evan Valdes, Emil Valdes and Oliver Valdes; his sister-in-law Lillian Barmakian; and his nieces, Sima Seymourian (Bruce), Liane Bush (Edward) and Deanna Barmakian (Michael Jimenez). He is also survived by many grandnieces and grandnephews.
