With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Godfrey of Winthrop, Massachusetts, born in Chelsea, Massachusetts, who passed away on March 12, 2021 at the age of 75. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of John Godfrey to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph S. Godfrey and Catherine Godfrey (French); and his brothers, Joseph Godfrey of Bradford, MA and Thomas Godfrey of Chelsea, MA.. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Godfrey (Lane); his sons, Christopher J. Godfrey (Jennifer) of Rowley, MA and Daniel E. (Erin) of Winthrop, MA.; his grandchildren, Tyler, Zachary and Amaya; and his sisters, Ellen Godfrey of Chelsea, MA, Catherine Raso of Everett, MA and MaryJane Gildea of North Andover, MA. He is also survived by extended family including brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, many loving nieces and nephews.
