He was predeceased by: his parents, Cosmo Viola and Virginia Viola (Sodi). He is survived by: his wife Joan M. Viola (McCaigue); his son Charles "Chuck" Viola of Woburn; his siblings, Benedict "Benny" Viola (Mary) of Arlington, Florence Owens (Robert) of Roslindale, Mary Fancieullo (Frank) of Everett and Alice Leman (Robert) of Malden; and his pet Princess. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins.
