He was predeceased by: his daughter Kathleen M. Johnson; and his parents, James A. McLaughlin and Mary McLaughlin (Kelly). He is survived by: his son James A. McLaughlin of Woburn; his brother James A. McLaughlin (Margaret M.) of Peabody; his grandchildren, Julianne F. Johnson of Woburn, Matthew D. Johnson of Woburn, Kyle A. Johnson, Valdemiro Melo and Dennis Melo; and his wife Elizabeth McLaughlin (LoCicero).
