He was predeceased by: his siblings, Bob Simonds (Anne) of Woburn, Tom Simonds (Jean) of Woburn, Ann E. Hogan (late Dan) of Woburn and James Simonds (Judy); his brother-in-law Joseph; and his mother-in-law Nellie.
He is survived by: his children, Nancy Vadala (Michael) of North Reading, Julie Simonds of Woburn, Kathy Simonds of Billerica, David Simonds (Lorinda) of Billerica and Peter Simonds (Heather) of North Andover; his grandchildren, Kyle, Derek, Sarah, Katie, Noah and Tommy; his sister Mildred E. Simonds (Toomey); his wife Helen M. Simonds (Higgins); his siblings, Jean Courtney (late Bill) of Woburn and Ronald Simonds (Raoul Ajamil, Sr.) of Woburn; his siblings-in-law, Lillian, George, Mary, Robert, Ann and Edward Higgins; and his father-in-law Patrick Higgins. He is also survived by many godchildren, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, Remembrances may be made in George's honor to the Sisters of Notre Dame 30 Jeffreys Neck Rd., Ipswich, MA 01938.
