She was predeceased by: her parents, Manuel Pereira and Mary J. Pereira (Goncalves); her granddaughter Kristen Abreu; and her sister Bernadette Bacigalupo. She is survived by: her husband John J. Abreu, Sr.; her children, John J. Abreu, Jr. (Mimma) of Woburn, Paul D. Abreu (Jean Conley) of Woburn and Joanne Marie Doherty (Bob) of Woburn; her grandchildren, Paul Jr., Alyson, John III, Justin Abreu, Jeffrey, Christopher and Shannon Doherty; her great grandchildren, Laila, Waylon, Rose, Isabella and Briella; and her siblings, Adeline Sweeney of Woburn and James Pereira. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
