He was predeceased by: his wife Loretta M. Courtney (Foley); his parents, William Courtney and Kathryn Courtney (Flaherty); and his brother William Courtney. He is survived by: his children, James F. "Jay" Courtney Jr. (Suzanne) of Hamilton and Carolyn M. Priem (Jeff) of Wilmington; his grandchildren, Jameson, Jackson Courtney, Megan, Brian and Bradley Priem; and his sisters, Mary Byrnes and Lorraine Langill. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
Due to the current situation we are experiencing with the Corona Virus, arrangements are private and under the direction of the Lynch – Cantillon Funeral Home, 263 Main Street, Woburn.
