He was predeceased by: his wife Dorothy Dooley (Foley); his parents, Stephen L. Dooley and Alice Dooley (Danton); and his brothers, Norman F and Walter E Dooley.
He is survived by: his sons, James S. Jr. (Christine) of Tewksbury, Kevin F. Dooley of Woburn, Stephen M. (Carolyn) of Lexington and J. Thomas M. D. (Mary Pat) of Winchester.
