She was predeceased by: her husband Paul J. MacDonald; her parents, John P. Kearney and Florence Kearney (Diamond); and her sister Lillian MacTavish. She is survived by: her children, Catherine Mullaney (Daniel) of Boylston, Peter MacDonald (Andrea) of Northborough, Paul A. MacDonald (Amy Manganelli) of Brookline and Laura MacDonald; her grandchildren, Grace Humbles, Katie Mullaney, Michael Au-Mullaney, Gabrielle MacDonald, Malcolm MacDonald, Olivia MacDonald, Sophia MacDonald, Calvin MacDonald and Annesia MacDonald; and her brothers, Jack Kearney of Groveland, MA and Jim Kearney of Roslindale, MA.. She is also survived by Nana, showering her nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Prior to her Alzheimer's diagnosis she had been an avid reader preferring the fictional works of Mary Higgins Clark and Jan Karon, along with Reader's Digest.
