He was predeceased by: his wife Norma Mae Abreu (Collier); and his brother Manuel. He is survived by: his grandsons, Robert Abreu Jr, Edward "Teddy" Barrett III, Derek and Jason Abreu; his sons, Robert (Sharon) of Brewster, James of Woburn and Paul (Denise) of Billerica; and his siblings, Natalie Macinanti, Anthony, Jay, George, Mary Balesteri and Bella Grady. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
