It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John J. Tancredi Sr. of Woburn, Massachusetts, who passed away on May 25, 2020, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Viola "Vi" Tancredi (DeSalvo); his parents, Michael Tancredi and Mary Tancredi (Verricella); and his brother Anthony Tancredi. He is survived by: his sons, John J. Tancredi Jr. (Maria) of Woburn and David P. Tancredi (Lisa Pannella) of Wakefield; his grandchild Kelly M.; his sister-in-law Rose Ventresca of Woburn; his friend Fred "Obie" O'Brien; his significant other Viola DeSalvo; his granddaughter Sara R. Tancredi; and his sister Rose Tancredi. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Due to the current situation we are experiencing with the Corona Virus, arrangements are private and under the direction of the Lynch – Cantillon Funeral Home, 263 Main Street, Woburn.
The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, please make remembrances in John's name to St. Charles Church, 280 Main Street, Woburn, MA 01801.
