He was predeceased by: his sister Maureen Garvey; and his parents, Francis O'Connell and Frances O'Connell. He is survived by: his great grandchildren, Colin and Abigail; his spouse Jean E. O'Connell (Fitzgerald); his children, Carol M. Onorato (Rick) of Westborough, Suzanne F. Garcia (John) of Woburn, Philip E. O'Connell (Paula) of Essex, Timothy J. O'Connell (Khwan) of Billerica and Edward J. O'Connell of Woburn; his brother-in-law Frank Garvey of Melrose; and also Frank of Melrose. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
