He was predeceased by: his wife Margaret E. Ropple (Burke); and his parents, William Ropple and Mary Ropple (Daly). He is survived by: his children, Joseph Ropple Jr. (Jenny), Susan Linder (Mike) of Millbury, Judy Ropple (Vernon) of Alton, NH, David Ropple (Coral) of Derry, NH and Debra Capano (Dante) of Lynn; and his siblings, Elaine Sullivan of Somerville and John Ropple of Texas. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
