She was predeceased by: her parents, Ezra Madden and Dorothy Madden (Nellis); and her brother Rod Madden. She is survived by: her children, Nancy Maddox, Karen Fitzsimmons (Jon Willander) and John Fitzsimmons; and her grandchildren, Kerri Maddox, Elle Fitzsimmons and Cade Fitzsimmons. She is also survived by extended family, with his four children, many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
