She was predeceased by: her parents, Bento and Januaria; and her siblings, Manuel Raposo, Liduino Soares and Amelia Paulo.
She is survived by: her husband Rolando Goncalves; her children, Roland Goncalves (Jeanne) of Lakeville, Nelson Goncalves (Maria) of Wilmington, Carlos Goncalves (Leonor) of Santee, CA and Lubelia Goncalves-Getty (late David Getty) of Woburn; her grandchildren, Shauna Goncalves, Eric Goncalves, Nick Goncalves, Roland Goncalves, Brian, Kevin Goncalves and Sienna Getty; and her siblings, Louis Raposo and Lorena Hatton. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, from 3 to 7 p.m. It has been requested that in lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Maria's memory to the Alzheimer's Association, 309 Waverley Oaks Rd., Waltham, MA 02452.
