He was predeceased by: his parents, Gaetano Privitera and Josephine Privitera (Morello); his son Peter G. Privitera; and his brother Dominic Privitera. He is survived by: his daughter Carolyn Privitera of Saugus; his grandsons, Michael Privitera of Saugus and Joseph Privitera (Malori) of Fitchburg; his great grandchildren, Isabella and Anthony; and his siblings, Francis D. Privitera (late Jean) of Arlington, Rosemarie Chiolfi (Phillip) of Danvers and Nancy Cannalonga (Nicholas) of Lexington. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
