He was predeceased by: his spouse Frances T. Cerra (Domenici); his parents, Antonio Cerra and Francesca Cerra (Romano); his siblings, Joseph, Frank, Vincent, Salvatore "Sam" and Mary Cerra; and his husband George of West Roxbury.
He is survived by: his child Susan Soukaros; his grandchildren, Heidi Henderson, Amy Senay, James Soukaros and Gina Soukaros; and also, Diane Cerra of Taunton and Philip Cerra, Jr. of Woburn. He is also survived by great grandchildren and is further survived by many nieces and nephews.
It has been requested that in lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Phil's memory to the American Parkinson Disease Association, 135 Parkinson Ave., Staten Island, NY 10305.
