He was predeceased by: his parents, Ronald Callahan and Gertrude Callahan (Langill). He is survived by: his children, Neilie J. Sequeira (Paul) of Dracut and Kyle E. Callahan of Cumberland; his close friend Cindy Croft of Cumberland; his brother Roger Callahan of Malden; and his sister-in-law Susan Callahan of Florida. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
