He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Alger and Helen Alger (Sullivan); and his brother Frank. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy R. Alger (Bradley); his children, Donna Lennon (Richard) of Woburn, Richard Alger Jr. (Judy Zagzoug) of Tewksbury, Diane Waters (Frank) of Chelmsford and Danielle Vella (Scott) of Hudson, NH.; his grandchildren, Colleen Lennon (Nick Sowa), Meghan Lennon (Angel Alvarado), Kelsey Keller (Robert), Mollie, Caleigh Lennon, Carly, Joey Waters, Shaylin and Alec Vella; his great grandchildren, Dylan, Cameron and Josephine; and his siblings, George, Robert, William Alger and Beverly Cantrell. He is also survived by several loving nieces and nephews as well as many loving sister and brothers – in – law.
