He was predeceased by: his wife Joan (Irwin); and his brother Edmund Curran. He is survived by: his children, Sheila Hunkins (Jeff) of Warren, Patricia Curran of Providence, RI, Mary Curran of Woburn and Joseph Curran of Lowell; his grandchildren, Joseph M. Griffin, III, Brenden, Patrick Curran and Emily Hunkins; and his sister Anne Blondin of Billerica. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
