He was predeceased by: his wife Helen M. Stander (O'Connor); and his parents, Max Stander and Anna Stander (Monaco). He is survived by: his children, David M. Stander (Susan) of Woburn and Ann T. Stander (Mark Stuart) of Sanford, ME.; his sister Marie Phinney of Malden; his grandson Derek Matthew Stuart; and his friends, Nancy Mondello, Charles, Mary O'Connor, Tootsie O'Connor, Catherine, Joe Reddy, John "Oakie" O'Connor and Victor Mondello. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
