She was predeceased by: her spouse Charlie A. Merrill; her parents, Willard C. and Sarah A. Hammond (Griffiths); her daughter Ruthann Weiss; and her siblings, Willard "Giffie" Hammond, Rebie Wymer, Dorothy Wilson and Sally Newman.
She is survived by: her daughter Valerie Alfaro of Woburn; and her grandchildren, Andrew Weiss of Woburn, Gregory Weiss of Haverhill and Charlene Alfaro of Woburn.
