He was predeceased by: his parents, William Doherty and Elizabeth Doherty (Healey); and his sister Janice. He is survived by: his siblings, Thomas W. Doherty (Virginia) of Westford, Elizabeth A. Harper (late Geoffrey W. Harper) and Dennis Doherty. He is also survived by nieces and nephew and great nephews and nieces.

Due to the current situation we are experiencing with the Corona Virus, arrangements are private and under the direction of the Lynch – Cantillon Funeral Home, 263 Main Street, Woburn.
