He was predeceased by: his parents, Andres Jimenez and Consuelo Baez; and his granddaughter Genesis Baez. He is survived by: his spouse Arelis Quero-Baez; his former wife Minerva Sanchez; and his daughters, Sandra Baez (Lenin Valdez) and Johanny Baez of New Jersey. He is also survived by 3 sons, 2 daughters and in laws.
