With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Barbara J. (Ekeroth) Sterner-Lohnes of Worcester, Massachusetts, who passed away on January 24, 2022 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Gustaf and Dorothy Ekeroth (Clay); her husband Claude W. Lohnes; her children, Robert Sterner, Jr. (Cheryl) of Worcester, Donna Holden (Robert) of West Boylston, Deborah Hackett (William) of Worcester, Philip Lohnes (Kathy) of Boylston, Brenda Ross of Leicester and Wendy Hebert (Brian) of Shrewsbury; her former husband Robert E. Sterner, Sr.; and her brother Gustaf Ekeroth, Jr. (Barbara). She was also cherished by 12 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
