It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Basil Santram (Worcester, Massachusetts), who passed away on November 7, 2019, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Chandramatte Santram (Persaud); his children, Suruj Goordial of Worcester, Nalini Goordial (James Henning) of Orange, MA, Vado (Robin Santram) of Worcester, Shivanie (Edward Staples) of Pomfret Ctr, CT, Khristram Santram of Worcester, Avaram (Ranushma Santram) of Worcester, Melizza (Craig Chernov) of Hardwick, MA and Michelle Persaud of New York; his siblings, Rishi Prashad of Worcester, Dee Prashad of Holden, Olga Ramchand of Worcester, Pamela Harris of California and Joyce Gedraitis of Holden; his grandchildren, Fred, Monita, Nate, Josh, Jake, Nick, Victoria and Ethan; and his parents, Jagnandan Prashad and Boodnie Prashad (Maraj). He was also cherished by six great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
