He was predeceased by: his wife Carolyn Burke (Stevens); his brother Martin P. Burke; his cousins, John Burke, Anthony Burke, Francis Benison, John Benison and Agnes Benison; and his parents, Austin Burke and Mary C. Burke (Thompson).
He is survived by: his godchildren, Betsy O'Rourke (Riordan) of Worcester, Erin Corso (Benison) of Attleboro and Brian Benison, Sr. of Springfield, VA; his cousins, Virginia Bension of Holden, Anthony Benison (Eleanor) of Shrewsbury, Edward D'Arcy (Peggy) of Worcester and Brian McGivern of Ireland; his sister-in-law Andrea Chavoor of Springfield; and also, Efi (Bekim Dukaj) and Irena (Arthur Manxhari).
