It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Concepcion Cruz of Worcester, Massachusetts, who passed away on February 26, 2021, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Adelo Acevedo Valentin and Juanita Ortiz Montalvo; and her brothers, Cecilio and Andres Acevedo of Puerto Rico. She is survived by: her daughters, Nancy Cruz (Hector Piniero) of Piniero and Maritza Cruz of Worcester; her grandchildren, Alejandra E. Piniero-Rodriguez (Louis A. Rodriguez) of Worcester, Hector E. Piniero of Worcester, Victoria C. Zayas (Casey Comisky) of Worcester and Domingo A. Santiago of Worcester; her great grandchild Elena Valentina Rodriguez; her pet Nena; her siblings, Ramon Acevedo of Worcester, Elizer of Puerto Rico, Sergio Acevedo of Puerto Rico, Dignora Acevedo of Worcester and Adela Acevedo of Puerto Rico; and her nieces, Evelyn and Nancy Faris of Worcester.
