He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Marilyn Bayer (White); his children, Allison A. Bayer (Nancy J. Young) of West Roxbury and David S. Bayer II (Kimberly) of Webster; his siblings, Doris Lesher of Scituate, John C. Bayer, Alan E. Bayer and Joyce Boutwell; and his parents, Otto Bayer and Doris Bayer (Carver). He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
