She was predeceased by: her husband William E. Toney; her children, Van L. Barry, Jr. and Barbara Newton; and her siblings, Christina, Charles "Buster" Richardson and Michael Richardson.
She is survived by: her children, Cheryl Barry, Clarence Richardson (Denise) of Worcester and Darryl Barry of Worcester; her siblings, Frances Garnett (Lamar) of Ashland, Clarice Agyemang of Worcester and Robert Johnston of Worcester; her sister-in-law Therese Richardson (late Michael); and her close friend Robert Seymour. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren; thirty-five great grandchildren; five great-great grandchildren.
