He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Fred W. Lahti, Sr. and Irene Lahti (Winski); his wife Marie Messina; his children, Debra Huard (Eli) of Sutton and Steven Lahti of Worcester; and his siblings, David Lahti (Suzanne) of Shrewsbury and Diane Lahti of Worcester. He was also cherished by three grandchildren whom he cherished; five nieces and nephews, and many extended family members, and friends.
