It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Gaetano Monopoli (Worcester, Massachusetts), who passed away on January 13, 2021, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his wife Christina "Tina" Carpino; his children, Grace "Dee" Catino (Joseph Jr.) of Rio Vista, CA, Gina Zollo (Robert), Gail Phillips, Tina Marie Paquette and Gaetano "Guy" Monopoli, Jr. (Maureen) of Northborough; his grandchildren, Michael Porcaro, Leah Paquette, Christina, Robert, Alyssa Zollo, Stephen, Lindsey Phillips and Ava Monopoli; his great grandchildren, Devin, Matteo and Julien; his parents-in-law, Carol Monopoli, Anthony, Beverly Carpino, Alan and Doris "Dee" Carpino; his siblings, Peter Monopoli (Theresa), John Monopoli, Donatina "Dena" Dipersia (Joseph) and Angelina "Lena" Kamyck (Chester); his son-in-law Matthew Phillips; and his friends, Neno, Shrewsbury St and Restaurant Row. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and numerous friends.

Mass COVID restrictions, masks and social distancing are required in the funeral home, church and at cemetery.
