He was predeceased by: his parent William O. Niemi; and his nephew William J. Niemi, Jr.. He is survived by: his parent Sophia M. Niemi (Metercovis); his brother William J. Niemi, Sr. of Webster; his nieces, Donna M. Serwa and Deborah J. Messier; and his pets, Jake, Sadie and Snickers.
