She was predeceased by: her husband Arthur I. Longwell; her son Arthur R. Longwell; her siblings, Donald R., Richard L., George E., Harold L. Mahan and Dorothy M. Grace; and her parents, Lloyd C. Mahan and Bessie E. Mahan (Stockwell).
She is survived by: her children, Ronald I. Longwell (Diane) of Boynton Beach, FL, Malcom H. Longwell of Oxford, Joan M. Beauchemin (Edward) of Marlborough and Susan J. Longwell (J. Petrila) of Rutland; her sister Betty P. McOwen of Tampa, FL; her sisters-in-law, June Stewart of Biddeford, ME and Jean Mahan of Charlton; and her friend Margie Donell of Worcester. She is also survived by fifteen grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren and many nephews and nieces.
The family expresses their heartfelt thanks to the staff of Notre Dame Hospice and Shrewsbury Nursing Home for their outstanding compassionate care, lovingly delivered, especially noteworthy given the stressful challenges they face daily due to COVID-19.
