With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gladys R. (Simonds) Strong (Worcester, Massachusetts), born in East Boston, Massachusetts, who passed away on October 14, 2019 at the age of 95. She was predeceased by: her parents, Dana Simonds and Beatrice Simonds (Medros) of Everett; her foster son Billy Ohrstrom; and her sisters, Grace Griffith, Laurianne Siebold and Doris Simonds.
She is survived by: her children, Patricia Pepi (Louis) of West Boylston, Barbara Kerr of Holden and Dana Strong (Patricia) of Worcester; her grandchildren, Gretchen Pepi of Worcester, Lindsay Doughty (Richard) of Paxton, Keith Kerr (Kinga) of Mansfield and Michael Pepi; her great grandchildren, Sam Pepi Ames, William, Benjamin Doughty, Caleb, Keegan and Carter Kerr; her foster daughters, Barbara Ohrstrom and Susan Marong (Peg); and her sisters, Natalie Oetinger and Janet Pickrell.
