He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Bette J. Smyth (Speakman); his mother Agnes Smyth; his children, Main South, Cambridge, Canterbury, Jo-Ann Wood (John) of Worcester, Gregory "Butch" Smyth Jr. (Denise) of Leicester and Lyn-Ann Kaminski (Tony) of Worcester; his grandchildren, Jennifer Wood (Christopher Costello), Jeffrey Smyth, Elizabeth Mockus (Jason) and Christopher Smyth; his great grandchild Smyth Evelyn Mockus; and his grandchildren, James, Melissa Kaminski, Jesse, Tara Kaminski, Sara and Jason Yost. He was also cherished by his son, sons in law, and grandsons.
