He is survived by: his wife Edith Froehlig (Lichtenstein); his children, Karen Froehlig of Canton and Eric Froehlig of New York; his sister Jeanne Levy of Scottsdale, AZ; and his great-nieces, Gretchen and Mariel.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Joy of Music Program, 1 Gorham St. Worcester.
