He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard R. Cheney and Gertrude Cheney (Power). He is survived by: his wife Marion A. Cheney (Mooney); his children, Jo-Ann M. White (Timothy) of Worcester, James H. Cheney (Jay) and Kathleen A. Dufault (Matthew) of Holden; his grandchildren, Colleen, Julie, Meghan White, Alex, Olivia Cheney, Tricia, John and Dan Dufault; his brothers, Paul E. Cheney (Margaret) and James A. Cheney (Mary); his brother-in-law John H. Gearin; his sister Kathleen Benes (Kay); his brother-in-law Les Benes; and also Meg. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
