He was predeceased by: his father William H. Riopel. He is survived by: his mother Joyce R. Riopel (Provost); his siblings, John Riopel (Heather) of Paxton, Paul Riopel of Worcester, Mark Riopel of Webster, Diane Riopel of Fitchburg and Mary Thibeault (Dean) of Oakham; and his goddaughter Brittany Riopel.
