He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph B. Desto, Sr. and Louise T. Desto (Bisceglia). He is survived by: his wife Patricia A. Desto (Howard); his children, Gregg J. Desto (Jennifer) of Charlton, Deborah J. Desto-Kozlowski of Worcester and Deanna M. Hajos (Gabor) of Holden; his siblings, Robert A. Desto (Jean) of Boylston and Theresa Manna of Shrewsbury; his grandchildren, Matthew, Patrick, Alyssa, Gabrielle, Dominic, Alex and AJ; and his great grandchildren, Anthony, Christian and Ollie. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
