He is survived by: his wife Margaret A. Matthews (Marlborough); and his sisters-in-law, Elizabeth "Betty" Matthews of Worcester and Catherine "Kay" Matthews of Shrewsbury. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, and great nieces and great nephews.
