He was loved and cherished by many people including: his children, Kieu Tran (Lyly Trac) of Leicester, Tho (Michael Doherty) of Millbury and Huong Tran (Trung Nguyen) of Worcester; his brother Kui Chan of Worcester; his grandchildren, Samantha Tran (Michael Minneman) of Framingham, Celine (Spencer Leal) of Shrewsbury and Annette Tran of Leicester; his sibling's child Muoi Thi Huynh of Worcester; and his parents, Kien Tran and Bu Tran.
